Anushka is an actress and producer from Bollywood. She has been recognized for acting and as one of the most well-paid Bollywood actors. Anushka Sharma was born May 1, 1988 in Ayodhya Uttar Pradesh, India to Kumar Sharma and Ashima Sharma. Anushka was the daughter of an officer who had retired. and her mother works as a housewife. Karnesh Sharma is her younger brother. He served in Merchant Navy, and is currently a film producer. Anushka has completed her studies at Army School in Bangalore, after which she pursued an undergraduate Master of Arts degree (B.A.) at Mount Carmel College. Anushka has a Masters in Arts (Economics). Anushka was not interested in becoming an actor, but as a journalist or model. Anushka, after completing her education in Mumbai was accepted into Elite Model Management. She was trained by style consultant Prasad Bidapa. In the year 2017 Anushka had her first modeling experience at the designer Wendell Roricks' Les Vamps Show at Lakme Fashion Week and was selected by Rodricks to be the finale model at The Spring-Summer 2007 collection. Anushka Sharma has participated in a variety of brand-related campaigns after her Lakme Fashion Week debut. They include ads with Fiat Palio and Fiat Whisper Nathella Jewelry. Anushka Sharma, along with her modeling career, attended an acting class and began giving auditions to film. Anushka Sharma made her acting debut in the film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi with Shah Rukh Khan. To get ready for the test on screen, she spent the whole day. She was later contracted to do three films as part of the Yash Raj Films label. She was the young wife of a man who was older in the movie (the the same role Shah Rukh Khan played). The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. The year 2010 was the year that Anushka Sharma appeared in the movie 'Badmash Company together with Shahid Kapoor Shahid Kapoor, Vir Das as well as Meiyang Chang. The film received mixed critiques. Anushka appeared alongside Ranveer in the movie 'Band Baaja Baaraat' in which she portrayed an Punjabi middle class woman who started her own business. This movie was well received and became a sleeper. Anushka has completed her 3-film contract in partnership with Yash Raj Films after Band Baaja Baaraat.
